“"Healthcare should be more than managing numbers, medications, and diagnoses. It should be about understanding the whole person, earning their trust, and giving them the knowledge and support they need to thrive. My passion is transforming chronic disease care into a partnership that leads to better outcomes and a better quality of life.””
NURSE PRACTITIONER
Marie has been a member of the CAMily for a long time. She first started working with us in 2000 as a file attendant. Over the years she worked her way to Medical Assistant. In 2015 she left CAM to become a registered nurse, and shortly made her way back to the team.
Marie completed her FNP certificate from University of Detroit Mercy in June of 2021. She specializes in general cardiology but is also very passionate about heart failure. With the support of our physicians, Marie runs an outpatient CHF Program within the clinic. Most of her days are spent seeing patients in the office (River District, Shelby and Roseville), providing CHF based care. She also enjoys managing rare cardiomyopathies, coronary artery disease, and valvular heart disease.
Marie is passionate about making complex cardiovascular care feel more personal, accessible, and manageable for patients. She believes great cardiology care goes beyond treating an illness—it means understanding the person behind the diagnosis, building trust, and helping patients feel confident managing their own health.
