“Seeing this practice grow over the years has been truly astonishing. It wouldn’t have been possible without our excellent doctors and the help of our caring, supportive staff.”
As the President and Chief Medical Officer of Cardiology Associates of Michigan, P.C, Dr. Mark Zainea has seen the practice grow from a solo practitioner with three employees to a single specialty group of seven physicians, a certified physician assistant, and approximately 25 employees in three offices in both Macomb and St. Clair counties. Dr. Zainea was born and educated in southeast Michigan, and he has spent his entire career serving the residents of this region. He has been recognized by his peers on multiple occasions with the “Top Doc” Award from Hour Detroit Magazine.
Dr. Zainea is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University, a Cardiology Fellow/Resident Staff Instructor at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center, and a Cardiology Fellow/Resident Staff Instructor at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He has been recognized by his students multiple times as “Instructor of the Year,” and Dr. Zainea also lends his teaching expertise as a member of the Speakers Bureau for Abbott Vascular Medical – Cardiology Division.
