Dr. Madjid Mesgarzadeh MD, FACC
Dr. Mesgarzadeh, (Dr. Mesgar as he is known to his patients and staff) has been practicing cardiology in southeastern Michigan for over 30 years. After finishing first in his class at medical school, he completed his residencies in Internal Medicine at Upstate Medical Center and Cornell Medical Center, both in New York. Subsequently, he was accepted into the Cardiology Fellowship Program at the University of Michigan and completed his cardiology training there.
Dr. Mesgar’s career has included several prominent positions including Chief of Cardiology, VA Hospital – Ann Arbor, MI, Chief of Medicine and Medical Staff President at Saratoga Community Hospital – Detroit, MI, Chairman of Cardiac Quality Assurance – St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Detroit, MI and Medical Staff President – Holy Cross Hospital, Detroit, MI. Although Dr. Mesgar now chooses an office-based practice, he continues to maintain the stringent requirements of his board certifications in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Mesgar is a member of the American Medical Association, American Heart Association, Michigan Medical Society, Wayne County Medical Society, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Mesgar’s areas of special interest include all aspects of adult Clinical Cardiology with long term experience in Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Mesgar is available to patients at both our Shelby Township and Roseville offices. As an added benefit, he is fluent in Farsi.
